Forget Ground Coffee From the Supermarket

Did you know that bagged pre-ground coffee in your supermarket could be many months old from when it was roasted, and as a result, has lost it's many characteristics and flavour compounds that would have given you a flavoursome brew? Ditch old/stale roasted coffee, and support your local Coffee Roaster, and buy fresh from 5 days of roasting; ensure it has a label stating 'Roasted On' date where the coffee details are; this will give you confidence when purchasing! Once a bag of pre-ground coffee is opened, use within a few days only, or just compost it after that as it's stale; whole beans are best to buy as you can grind them per brew and they'll taste far better, too! Hope this helps you!
